On the 19 th of November The YLC visited the local orphanage house and bring them many aducational materials as books copy books pens colour pencils a lot of toys  beside it clothers  sweets cakes and biscutes .The pupils played educational games sang  songs .Even they could sang the national song of Tajikistan .The YLC organised an intresting games were all the kids were very active . All the nurses of the  orphanage house were very happy as the kids like it very much.

 Nowadays football play important role in our life. Durin several years  swedish  organization”Millenium” organize football and valleyball compitions in secondary schools of our town.And teams will compete to get the cup of Millenium. Last year it was volleyball competitions amongs girls. This year football competitions among boys.During two months  the teams of every school compete with each other. At final were two teams team “Legioners” school#1 and team “Saddam” Lyesum #1. This game took place  on the 17th of November in sport center of our town.It was very interesting  game. At the first half minute the game was without change. And in another half minute Saddam team scored two goals to the gate of Legioner’s . And thus they become the winners of Cup of Millenium. At the end the winners were awarded with gifts and certificates.

On November during autumn holidays 10 students from Tajikistan have participated in the Olympiad of young citizens in Moscow. There were a lot of students from different countries of the world and even from US. All about this Olympiad we have learned  from Azamat Mamatkulov the student of 11^th grade of our school. He was the participant of this Olympiad in Mathematics. This week we have celebrated IEW and invited Azamat to our ILC and asked him to make presentation about this event  Azamat told us that at this Olympiad students competed in different subjects as Math., Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and others. Azamat competed in Math. he got certificate for the 4^th place. Besides it all the students went sightseeing and visited the museums and other cultural places of Moscow.  It was very interesting for us to learn more about this Olympiad and we have congratulated Azamat for participating in it.

Another event dedicated to the IEW was English Club activity. We have invited the students from Khujand Language School and secondary school # 10 of Chkalovsk to our ILC and have English Club together. The students could share their knowledge and become friends.

Town Olimpiada

Every year as traditions in all schools of our Republic we have Olimpiada competitions in schools. Students participate in different subjects from 8^th till 11^th grades. The aim of this contest is to check knowledge in different subjects. There are several rounds. First it starts at school then in town then winners will go to Republican the last round.And in the last regions will go only 11^th grades only.

The second round of town Olimpiada in our town held on the 3^rdof November will 7th of November. Our students participated actively in this contest and we got 6 first places and 11 second places and 15 third places. The winners got  memorable gifts and now they need to prepare well and get ready to the next round  of Olimpiada  Regional one. We wish luck to all winners.

In our English Club we have celebrated Halloween. It was really interesting. First of all we made the research in the Internet in order to find the history of the celebration and the traditions of this holiday. It was interesting to know for us that the history of the holiday is more then 2000 years. When we have found more about this holiday we organized a lot of interesting games such as: eat the hanging apple without touching it, hang the tale of the donkey with banded eyes, blow to the balloon and keep it in the air and do not touch it with hands and others. It was very funny.

We have learnt a lot about traditions of Halloween such as “Trick or Treat” and about “Pumpkin head”. Creating the Pumpkin head was one of the amazing things that we have ever did in our ILC. The history of our pumpkin is funny. When we looked at our market we couldn’t find round pumpkin, and then Ganjina told us that she will bring one, it was from her aunts kitchen garden. When Ganjina’s aunt heard why we need pumpkin and we are going to create pumpkin head, she agreed to give us one. Next day her aunt came early in the morning, at six o’clock to Ganjina’s house to give her the pumpkin. So when the pumpkin was brought to our class we switched on our fantasy and the pumpkin head was ready.

On October 18, 2008 in the gymnasium number 1 of Chkalovsk there was the literary celebration of Alexander Pushkin, the great Russian poet. In celebration the students from different towns of our region have participated in it. The students came from Khujand, Kayrakkum, Kanibadam and others. Students recited Pushkin’s poems. The expressive, poetic, beautiful, unusual and inspired reciting admired viewers who meet them with applauses. Among the spectators there were sitting, parents and teachers who helped the students to prepare for this celebration. These events closely followed the jury that evaluated the statement.

In celebration was attended the journalists and photographers who recorded and photographed interesting moments, inspired lines and beautiful gestures. Our club also tried to see the best poems and participants and write about them in this article. There were even scenes from the life of the poet. Dressed in suits of that time the 19 th century. Such celebrations were held in the House of Culture of Chkalovsk. Active members were awarded with memorable prizes.

On October 25 in our school, gymnasium # 2 there was organized Autumn Ball. The Ball was organized by the students from Youth Committee of our school. They have gathered some amount of money due to lottery which they have provided among the student of our school. They have invited the young singer Shahzod from our town in order to make the Ball interesting and fun. Also there were different contests and games provide during the Ball. Girls come to the ball in the beautiful evening dresses and the boys wear suits. There was a Queen of the Ball, the student of the 11^th form. She opened the ball and then the other students continue the ceremony of the Ball. At the end of the Ball there was a Disco which the students waited with impatient.

 Hello  I wanted to write about Workshop for Englsh teachers which held in our ILC.

Our Teacher  Zebo Murodova lead a workshop for English teachers. English teachers were from sarband, Vakhsh and Kurghan-Tube.
